This month two members of the Libertyville High School Bass Fishing Team, Joey Bissing and Jackson Paden, both of Libertyville, went to Springfield for a Bass Pro Shop-sponsored tournament run by Fishing League Worldwide with 20 other teams Oct. 7. What made it sweet for the two was that rival Buffalo Grove High School Bass Fishing Team members were also in attendance — Tyler Lubbat of Wheeling and Tyler Christy of Bolingbrook. Read Story

Staff Spotlight
2. What department have you/do you work in and what do you do? I work in the Attendance/Dean's Office.
3. How long have you been working at BG? I have been working at BG for 15 years. I am currently in my 16th year.
4. Where did you go to high school? E.T.H.S./Evanston Township High School
5. What part of working at BG do you find the most rewarding? I love working with the kids. Since I'm not a Teacher, being able to assist them with different day-to-day situations can be very rewarding. If there's a situation they need help with, the kids know they can count on me to give them positive feedback or direction. I'm kinda considered the school "Mom" and that's okay! = )
6. What is something unique about you? I'm a avid Gardener! I do container gardening as well as perennials. I used to work at Pesche's part time in the summers. It's my passion outside of school.
7. What activities or clubs do you coach/ sponsor? I don't coach/sponsor, however, I do try to physically support the kids by going to their games, activities, and sometimes club activities.
