Congratulations to our ILMEA District 7 selectees, Orchestra students Daphne Anderson (horn), Andrew Hoang (cello), Jenna Kosnoff (piccolo), Spencer Sadler (cello), Harmony Sosa (viola); Band students Roy Galazka (trombone) and Carina Obrecht (clarinet); Jazz Band students Matt Hamilton and Nick Hamilton; Choir students Christine Cabrera, Sean Marshall, Charlie Morrison, Taylor Resnik, Adam Shane, Holden Wheeler and Abigail Wight; and Vocal Jazz students Christine Cabrera, Sean Marshall, Charlie Morrison, Carina Obrecht, Fiona McNamee, Isaly Olaguez, and Adam Shane. We are so proud of all of our students who auditioned!

Congratulations to Boys Soccer on advancing to the IHSA regional final on Saturday at Stevenson!
Congratulations to our Bison Pride Marching Band for their 4th place finish in the most competitive class they’ve ever participated in at Naperville Central! The band placed 5th overall out of 18 bands, a great end to a great season!
Congratulations to the huge group of our Girls Swimming & Diving Class of 2022 teammates celebrating Senior Night last week!

Upcoming Dates
Register for AP Exams by November 1st
Registration for the May 2022 Advanced Placement Exams is open now through November 1st. CLICK HERE to go to the AP exam registration portal. Students who are paying by credit card or who are approved for free and reduced lunch can sign up through the portal. Students who need to pay by cash or check, or who may need financial assistance must come to the Assessment Center G150 for assistance BEFORE OCTOBER 20th. BGHS Fall 2021 College & Military Rep Visits
BGHS will be hosting college and military reps both in person and virtually. All rep visits, even the virtual visits, will be held in the College and Career Center (room G153). Please pick up a pass in the College and Career Center to attend any of these rep visits.

How long have you been working at BG? I started here as a substitute 5 years ago.

What part of working at BG do you find the most rewarding? Seeing students make positive changes and grow
What are you currently reading, and/ or do you have a favorite author or podcast? I am reading Still Life by Louise Penny and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab.
What is something unique about you? I enjoy being outdoors camping, hiking, swimming, playing golf and practicing yoga.
What activities or clubs do you coach/ sponsor? What activities at BG do you follow? I participate in Italian Club and follow BG's golf, bowling, badminton, cheerleading and theatre productions.
