Friday Focus: Homecoming Week September 26th - 30th

We kicked off the upcoming Homecoming festivities with a fun assembly this week, introducing our homecoming court, theme days and other fun activities along with a special performance by our teacher band, Staff Infection (Mr. Trow, Mr. Genualdi, Mr. Stewart, Mr. Foecking, Mr. Tschammer and Mr. Kosiek)! Don’t miss the pep rally/bonfire on Thursday, September 28th at 7:00 pm in the basin or the homecoming soccer and football games on Friday, September 29 at 4:45 pm and 7:30 pm. Congratulations to the 2023 Homecoming Court: Maya Belorusskiy, Alexa Chavez, Sam Cho, Jack Greenspan, Kaden Khayyata, Matthew Maradkel, Martyna Ostrega, Anthony Palano, King Ray and Caden Watson

Our Homecoming theme is “BG: The Most Magical Place On Earth”. Each day is themed on a Disney movie, so be sure to be creative! Here are the details:

  • Monday, Sept. 25th - There is no school, thus, we have “SLEEPING BEAUTY DAY”.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 26th- We are all in this together, with the “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL DAY”. Do you have a favorite sports team? Play basketball like Troy, or are a cheerleader like Gabrielle? In the spirit of this Disney classic, wear a jersey to school.

  • Wednesday, Sept. 27th - We are riding the waves for “LILO + STITCH DAY”. Grab a lei, pineapple shirt and some flip flops and dress like you are kicking back on a tropical beach.

  • Thursday, Sept. 28th - We’re going to infinity and beyond with “TOY STORY DAY”. Dress up in your western gear, in space themed outfits or go to “Infinity and Beyond” and dress like Buzz Lightyear.

  • Friday, Sept. 29th - Wear your Homecoming shirt or wear some blue and orange and show your Bison spirit. Freshmen and sophomores wear orange, juniors and seniors wear blue.
