Principal Wardle's Weekly Blog 05/10/24

Friday Focus:  BG hosts Multicultural Fair

Last Friday, we celebrated the diversity of Buffalo Grove High School with a festive and lively Multicultural Fair. The event featured keynote speaker, Marley Lizama. Marley used his background in hip hop, breakdancing, and traveling to over 40 different countries to speak about celebrating the diversity both within and around us. In fact, he will be traveling to Paris for the Olympics this year for break dancing! The 2024 Summer Olympics will introduce the sport of breaking to the Summer Olympic program for the first time. In addition to our keynote speaker, various student cultural and identity clubs produced wonderful displays on tables in the main lobby for students and staff to explore and learn from one another.
