Congratulations to the Boys and Girls varsity Wrestlers who competed in the MSL conference tournament.The boys finished 7th with 9 placers: Dawson 3rd, Anthoni 8th, David 5th, Max 4th, Bohdan 6th, Sonny 7th, Chris 4th, Caden 4th, and John 7th. For the girls Catalina 2nd, Jaclyn 6th, Christina 2nd, Alondra 6th, and Abby 3rd.
Congratulations to Diver Michael Surowaniec who, after being out due to injury for 5 weeks, placed 4th place at last week’s diving event and set a new personal record! Way to go Michael…glad to have you back!
Congratulations to Girls Wresting on a great Conference at Schaumburg this week! Medalists: Catalina and Christiana- 2nd place, Abby- 3rd place, Jac and Alondra- 6th place.
Connor Woodin was recognized this week during a pregame celebration for becoming the 10th 1,000 point scorer in BG history! And a great 2nd half effort led to a 47-40 win against Vernon Hills!

Junior Bisonettes Winter Dance Camp & Performance
Friday, February 9th 4-7pm
The Bisonette Poms/Competitive Dance Program is hosting a kiddie clinic on Friday, February 9th from 4:00-7:00 pm. In addition to learning a dance that will be performed at our halftime basketball games that night, participants will receive a t-shirt and two tickets to the game. Spread the word to the community!

The BGPA Scholarship Application is now open
Application Deadline - April 2, 2024 at 4:00 pm
The Buffalo Grove High School Parent Association (“BGPA”) and donor Mrs. Jackie Sell are pleased to award scholarships to recognize the achievement of our students. The winners will be selected based on school and community involvement, leadership, motivation, and academics, as well as a compelling personal essay. All graduating BGHS Class of 2024 seniors are eligible for this scholarship. Additionally, scholarship Applicants must plan to attend a post-secondary or technical school as a full-time or part-time student and must meet District 214’s requirements to participate in and to be awarded a diploma at commencement in 2024. The Scholarship is an outright gift and will be announced and disbursed at the Principal’s Awards Assembly on May 13, 2024.
All applications will be reviewed with complete anonymity. The completed application (with required signatures) must be received in the BGHS College/Career Center by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. All decisions made by BGPA will be final. Any application not submitted with required signatures by the 4:00 pm on April 2, 2024, will be rejected. CLICK HERE to apply
Attention Thomas Middle School alumni
Each year college scholarships are awarded through the Thomas Middle School Pride of the Wolf Pack organization to college bound high school seniors who graduated from Thomas Middle School. Applications are due by March 1, 2024.
