Friday Focus - D214 Centennial Celebration Information!
During the 2014-2015 school year, High School District 214 will celebrate 100 years of innovation in education. You are all invited to celebrate with us at the District 214 Centennial Celebration Events. Starting Sunday, November 9, through Sunday, November 23, 2014 there will be a district-wide food drive. The District’s six comprehensive high schools and three alternative programs will collect food to benefit local food pantries. You may find a collection bag on your door. We hope you’ll participate by filling it, or bringing in food items to your neighborhood high school. With more than 12,000 students, 1,500 staff and residents of eight communities participating, we can have a significant impact. Please check www.d214.org throughout the year for more information on centennial events that are open to the community.
