Friday Focus  -   BGHS Multicultural Show

IMG_0007.jpg
On October 14th students from Buffalo Grove High School organized our annual Multicultural Show.  There were dances and songs from different parts of India, Ukraine, Greece, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Korea, Bulgaria, Mexico, Philippines, Uganda, and Sudan.  We also had Free Flow performing an American modern dance, and a Ukrainian Couple dancing the Ballroom dances.  Students invited a Turkish artist to showcase the Turkish Art, called -  “Marble Painting.”  The show ended with a Fashion Show, and the “Imagine” song by John Lennon sang by all participants showing the unity and understanding of different cultures.  It was a great celebration of the diversity of our student body!

Trieb's terrific as Buffalo Grove wins at Elk Grove
The Daily Herald, October 14, 2016
The Hail Mary catch at the end of the first half wasn't a new experience for Buffalo Grove's Jimmy Trieb, but returning a blocked punt for a touchdown was.
And his 5 total TDs, that was also something unprecedented for the senior and led the Bison to a 42-12 victory at Mid-Suburban East opponent Elk Grove on Friday night.  Read Story
