Principal Wardle's Weekly Blog 11/11/22

 The Bison Impact:

Swimmers going to STATE!

The girls swim and dive team had a great sectional showing yesterday at Stevenson. It was the most competitive sectional in the state by far, with some events having 8 or 9 girls qualifying. We are proud of the team and how our Bison stepped up. The team finished 3rd overall out of 13.

These are the following state qualifiers...

-Reese Frighetto - 200 Medley Relay, 50 Freestyle, and 400 Free Relay (New school record)

-Victoria Surdyka - 200 Medley Relay, 200 IM, 100 Breaststroke (New school record) and the 400 Free Relay (New school record)

-Abby Swanson - 200 Medley Relay

-Gianna Gagliano - 200 Medley Relay

-Payton Menely - 200 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, and 400 Free Relay (New school record)

-Ella Houston - 200 Freestyle (New school record), 500 Freestyle (New school record), and 400 Free Relay (New school record)  Ella had an especially incredible performance. She clocked the 3rd fastest 500 Freestyle in the state... As a freshman.

The varsity group swam 100% season bests at sectionals. The divers, Colleen Dahl and Emily Krause, also did a great job.

Use extra caution near this new crossing.
