Buffalo Grove High School's ProStart program has been named to the 2016 Elite 50, an annual selection of the top 50 secondary school hospitality programs in the nation by the National Center for Hospitality Studies.
Teacher Ronna Pflanz has been teaching this course for over a decade, and most recently, they have been showcases at District 214’s Annual Golf Outing, serving food at the 10th hole, District 214’s Business Leaders Luncheon, they have served food to the Federal Department of Education, and the Illinois Department of Education this year during stopovers at Buffalo Grove, and countless other venues.  We are very proud of this program, the accomplishment of the students, and the opportunities for employment and scholarships that ProStart has given our students.
