Celebrating Our Success!

Congratulations to senior, Henry Johnston, on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 140.  Less than 2% of all boys in scouting achieve the rank of Eagle. Henry demonstrated leadership and commitment to Scouting by earning at least 21 merit badges, becoming proficient in life skills, showing strength in character and holding leadership positions within the troop. Henry’s final achievement toward completing this rank was to organize and lead a project for the betterment of the community. Henry’s project of building racks for the supply of mattresses that are used by the homeless at a local church is evidence not only of his dedication and hard work, but more importantly, his compassion for humanity. Congratulations Henry!

Congratulations to Jorge Jaime Rivera for being selected as a National Hispanic Scholar by College Board! Jorge scored in the top 2.5% among Hispanic and Latino PSAT/NMSQT test takers in our region.

Girls bowling: Expect more of the same from Buffalo Grove's Soskich
The Daily Herald, November 26, 2016
