Friday Focus  -  Multicultural Show
Last Friday was our multicultural show.  Several of our own students, as well as a number of local enterprises performed traditional songs, dances, and traditions.  It was a great way to celebrate the cultural diversity at Buffalo Grove High School!  Did you know that over 40 home languages are represented within the student body at Buffalo Grove?

4.  Where did you go to high school?  I attended Buffalo Grove High School!!

5.  What part of teaching do you find the most rewarding?  I truly enjoy building relationships with my French students and their families.  I have been privileged to have been the teacher of some students in the French program for four years and this has given me the opportunity to get to know not only them but also, their parents and siblings.

6.  What is something unique about you?   I love languages and travel!!  My mom is from Switzerland and she taught me the Swiss-German dialect as a child, so that I would be able to communicate with my grandparents.  This began my love of language-so I then went on to learn Spanish and French-both of which I have taught at BG.
