Friday Focus - Grand Opening of One Grove Gallery
Next Friday, we celebrate the grand opening of One Grove Gallery, our district's first dedicated Art Gallery in a high school building, located at Buffalo Grove! One Grove Gallery is located in our theater lobby. This Friday's grand opening will feature work from our own BG Alumni artists, as we celebrate homecoming. Please take this opportunity next Friday after school to come by the Gallery, view the artwork, meet the artists, and enjoy music provided by the BGHS Orchestra!

1. What is your name? Joanna Marshall
2. What department do you teach in/ what courses do you teach? Math/Science Department, Chemistry
3. How long have you been teaching at BGHS? This is my 18th year.
4. Where did you go to high school? Maine East High School
5. What part of teaching do you find the most rewarding? Developing relationships with students.
6. What is something unique about you? I have an instagram account for my cat, dj_hyperthyroid_boo. At one point in my teaching career I had a snake and a rat as classroom pets. I was a model for a comic book super hero. I was on the Green Mill slam team and competed in the National Poetry Slam.
