Friday Focus - Harper Partnership
Districts 214, 211, and 220 (Barrington) have been working actively with Harper to create several new partnerships in the years to come.  In the global picture, we are seeking to blur the line between high school and college during the senior year of high school, where credits can be earned for both high school and college transcripts.
This idea aligns very closely with my personal passion and vision of ensuring that every student at Buffalo Grove is given a Real Hope and a Bright Future.  Practically, this means that we desire to offer every student an Advanced Placement credit, a dual-credit course, a certification program, and/or an internship during their 4 years at BG.
I am very excited about the direction we are heading with our work with Harper.  Today I am part of an alliance meeting with Harper faculty and administration to move our partnership forward.  I look forward to sharing with you the opportunities that come from this partnership for your student(s) in the months and years to come.
